Pop Up Studio or After Hours
When the drinks are flowing and the music is playing, the fun can really start, and this for me, is when I can capture some incredible portraits of your loved ones for you, a special gift for your guests to remember your day by. This can either be captured in a more documentary way, or in the form of a pop up studio.
Using the Venues Features
It doesn't need to be complicated, I bring my studio light to the venue and the focus is purely on taking great portraits of your loved ones after hours (or the last main event of your wedding) I can nearly always find a great backdrop to shoot against as you guys always choose such amazing venues (The above was at Nouri & Reema's Wedding held at the Mandarin Hotel, you can see i've used a painting as the backdrop here).
Not to be mistaken with a photobooth, the pop up studio is 1 on 1 interaction with your guests, with the sole purpose of just capturing them with you, thier partners or kids and having a great photos to remember your day by. Yes - some come out less serious than others, but thats what we love about it. Everyones dressed up nice, what better gift to rememebr your day than a portrait of them with a loved on or maybe with you?
After your last main event, people let their hair down and beautiful moments are still able to be captured, and also some crazy ones too. It completely depends on your guests and whats right for you. Both very different, but both an investment in your memories of your special day.
Portraits to remember.
Yes, sometimes I do bring out the wilder side in your guests, but thats fun of it, I always request a sensible face and then the cheeky ones like this. I'm always told these are the photos that have everyone laughing, sharing and printing from too.
